AWS Technology Department Kickoff 2025

This is where it officially started. At the kickoff I became Co-Lead of the Data Science and Analytics Department and met the people I’d be building it with: Helena, our department’s Senior Associate, and Jen, our Department Lead.

The idea I took home was the 5 buckets of knowledge, a way of sorting what we teach so that nothing important falls through the cracks. It sounded simple that day, but it went on to shape how we planned every workshop and the department’s curriculum.
