An air pollution exposure simulator that won 1st place out of 25 teams at the Solar Power Hackathon.

The idea
Air quality readings alone don’t tell a person how much pollution they are exposed to. AeroC turns hourly PM2.5 readings into personalized exposure risk estimates for the Philippines and Indonesia.
What I did
- Led the backend team
- Built a Python and FastAPI service that ingests hourly PM2.5 readings
- Built aggregation and risk-scoring pipelines for the time-series data
- Deployed it on AWS (EC2, S3)
Result
1st place out of 25 teams.
